On Wednesday, September 17, 2025, the Chaldean Bishop of Lebanon, Bishop Michel Kassarji, accompanied by Monsignor Raphael Traboulsi, the General Vicar, visited His Excellency the President of Lebanon, General Joseph Aoun, in the presence of Mr. Rafiq Shallala, at the Presidential Palace in Baabda. His Excellency invited the President to participate in the closing Mass of the Jubilee Year, marking the 150th anniversary of the Chaldean presence in Lebanon, which is scheduled to be celebrated on Sunday, October 26, 2025, at 4:00 PM.
