Monsignor Raphael Traboulsi, the General Vicar of the Chaldean Diocese of Beirut, launched the holy Jubilee Year at St. Joseph Parish in Sad al-Bouchrieh during the Feast of the Exalted Cross. The Divine Liturgy was celebrated in a joyful atmosphere with a large attendance. The parish choir provided hymns for the occasion, and then Monsignor Raphael blessed the Jubilee torch in front of the Holy Cross, delivering a message on behalf of His Excellency Bishop Michel Kassarji, explaining the significance of the occasion.
After the liturgical celebration concluded, everyone participated in a grand Jubilee procession through the streets of Sad al-Bouchrieh and Jdeideh, carrying the wooden cross of salvation and holding lit candles, with heartfelt prayers on their lips.
