On the occasion of the start of the Jubilee Year 2024-2025, which celebrates 150 years of Chaldean presence in Lebanon, His Excellency Bishop Michel Kassarji, accompanied by Monsignor Raphael Traboulsi, visited His Excellency Metropolitan Nivin Seikaly at his residence in Zahle. They congratulated him on the construction of the Church of Our Lady of Joy, built in the Russian style, and on the anticipated opening of the museum of icons and ecclesiastical artifacts.
Afterward, Bishop Kassarji briefed Metropolitan Nivin on the beginning of the Jubilee Year in the Chaldean Diocese of Beirut. The bishop expressed his joy for this significant occasion, extending his congratulations, especially to the Chaldeans of Zahle, and promised a forthcoming visit to the Bishop’s residence in Baabda-Brazilia to be blessed by its stunning cathedral during this blessed Jubilee Year.
