Visit of the Bishop Paul Richard Gallagher

The primate of the Chaldean Church in Lebanon bishop Michel Kassarji welcomed his eminence Bishop Paul Richard Gallagher, the papal envoy to Lebanon and Vatican minister of foreign affairs, accompanied by the papal ambassador of Lebanon Bishop Joseph Spiteri and Monsignor Giuseppe Franconi, the ambassador secretary, along with the accompanying delegation.

Monsignor Raphael Traboulsi, the episcopal vicar, and Mrs Mira Kassarji, head of media and public information at the diocese, took part to welcome his eminence and the accompanying delegation.

Furthermore, Bishop Kassarji addressed his hospitality to the esteemed delegation, as he carried on adding the Chaldean Church affairs in Lebanon under the undesirable circumstances.

Similarly, Bishop Gallagher extended a special word of gratitude to Bishop Kassarji on his greetings and praised the services of the diocese granted to its believers. As well, he conveyed the blessing of Pope Francis.
