Ordination of Evangelical Deacon Nabil Al-Danno on the Feast of Saint Addai the Apostle

On Saturday, May 2, 2026, on the occasion of the Feast of Saint Addai the Apostle, His Excellency Bishop Michel Kassarji, diocesan bishop, celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Cathedral of the Archangel Raphael in Baabda–Brasilia at 5:00 PM, during which he conferred the rank of Evangelical Deacon upon seminarian Nabil Riyad Boutros Al-Danno. Assisting His Excellency were Monsignor Raphael Traboulsi, Episcopal Vicar General, and Father Nadim El Helou, Lebanese Maronite missionary. Also participating in the service were Their Excellencies Bishops Charles Mourad and Chokrallah Nabil El Hajj, along with several priests, deacons, and faithful members of the diocese who came from near and far to congratulate the new deacon and pray for his intentions. The liturgy was animated by the Saint Joseph Choir of Sed El Baouchrieh, and the head of the Chaldean Church in Lebanon, Bishop Michel Kassarji, delivered an eloquent homily highlighting the significance of this sacred rank and the virtues and qualities of Deacon Nabil.
