On Sunday, May 17, 2026, on the occasion of the holy Month of Mary, Monsignor Raphael Traboulsi, Episcopal Vicar General, and on behalf of the diocesan bishop, Bishop Michel Kassarji, celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Shrine of Our Lady of Zahlé and the Bekaa at 6:00 PM. Participating in the Eucharistic celebration were Monsignor Elie Bou Chaaya, rector of the shrine, and Deacons Nabil Al-Dallo and Tony Al-Jaddou, while the Saint Joseph Chaldean Choir of Sed EL Baouchrieh animated the liturgy. A large number of members of the Chaldean Church from Zahlé and the Bekaa attended the Divine Liturgy, during which Father Trabelsi conveyed the greetings and blessing of the head of the Chaldean community in Lebanon and offered prayers for all their intentions, for both the living and the deceased. All present asked the Virgin Mary to grant peace to Lebanon and its people.
