On Saturday, April 11, 2026, on the occasion of the glorious Easter, Monsignor Raphael Traboulsi, the Vicar General, accompanied by the deacons Dani Sheba and Nabil Riyad Dalo, visited the city of Zahle, where a meeting was held that brought them together with the members of the Chaldean Church in those regions. The meeting included a speech by Father Traboulsi, in which he highlighted news about the Chaldean Church in Lebanon and the world, and then he listened to the contributions of the faithful before distributing whatever food aid was available to them.
Afterwards, the delegation of the diocese met with the abbot of St. Anthony Monastery of the Lebanese Maronite Order, Father Joseph Charbel, and discussions were held regarding the affairs and concerns of the members of the beloved community in those areas, in light of the worsening security, political, and economic situation in Lebanon and the Middle East. Father Bishop Traboulsi conveyed the blessings and prayers of His Excellency Bishop Michel Kassarji, the Primate of the diocese, to our people in Zahle and to the clergy serving in their spiritual ministry.
