On Saturday, April 11, 2026, corresponding to Holy Saturday according to the Julian calendar, Monsignor Raphael Traboulsi visited the Patriarchal Monastery of Mar Elias Shwaya at 10:30 PM. He received from His Excellency Bishop Qustantin Kyial the flame of the Holy Light arriving from the empty tomb in Jerusalem and transported it to the Chaldean Cathedral in Beirut, where prayers were offered for the intention of peace in Lebanon and for the election of a new patriarch at the head of the Chaldean Church, in conjunction with the proceedings of the Holy Synod convened in Rome.
