His Excellency Bishop Michel Kassarji, Primate of the Chaldean church in Lebanon, received Her Excellency the Australian Ambassador to Lebanon, Mrs. Lyndall Sachs, accompanied by Mr. Michael Brown, Deputy Head of Mission at the Australian Embassy in Beirut. The meeting was also attended by Monsignor Raphael Traboulsi, the Vicar General.
The discussion focused on the bilateral relations between the Chaldean Church and the Australian government, as well as the status of the Iraqi and Lebanese communities in Australia. Additionally, they highlighted key developments on the Lebanese and regional political landscapes.
