On Wednesday, July 1, 2026, on the occasion of the Feast of the Precious Blood of Jesus, through which He redeemed the world from the power of sin and granted humanity peace, Deacon Tony Al-Jaddou participated in an ecumenical prayer for peace in Lebanon and throughout the world. The prayer was held at St. Maron Church in Bourj Hammoud at 6:00 p.m., at the invitation of Tele Lumiere – NourSat. Representing the Chaldean Archdiocese of Beirut, Deacon Al-Jaddou delivered a spiritual reflection inspired by the liturgical traditions of the Church of the East. Those present raised their prayers and supplications, asking the Only-Begotten Son and the Son of the Virgin to continually watch over the suffering Middle East with His mighty hand, as it is the land of revelation and the place where the plan of salvation was fulfilled.
