On Wednesday, May 20, 2026, on the occasion of the approaching feast of Saint Rita the Wonderworker, patroness of impossible causes, Monsignor Raphael Trabelsi, Episcopal Vicar General, celebrated the Divine Liturgy according to the Chaldean rite at Saint Rita Parish in Monteverde, Metn, assisted by Fathers Salim Battani, pastor of the parish, and Joseph Raffoul, in addition to Deacons Nabil Riyad Al-Danno and Tony Al-Jaddou, at 6:30 PM. The liturgy was animated by the choir of Saint Joseph in سد البوشرية and attended by a large number of faithful. The homily focused on the dangers threatening the family in Lebanon and highlighted the true role of parents amid the crises affecting families in the Middle East as a result of successive wars, moral decline, and the deterioration of values. At the conclusion, everyone raised prayers for peace in Lebanon, Iraq, and the suffering East, asking Saint Rita to intercede for all people before her Divine Beloved, the Lord Jesus.
