On Friday, May 8, 2026, on the occasion of the feast of Saint John the Evangelist and Theologian, the Beloved Disciple who leaned on the Divine Breast, and upon the invitation of the pastor of Saint John the Beloved Parish in Hazmieh and the parish committee, Monsignor Raphael Traboulsi, Episcopal Vicar General, participated in the festive Divine Liturgy presided over by His Eminence Metropolitan Michael Farah, Greek Catholic Metropolitan of Baalbek. The Eucharistic celebration, held at 6:00 PM, was attended by a large number of priests from the region and neighboring areas, in addition to the mayor and his wife, the local mukhtar, and the esteemed residents of Hazmieh. Following the liturgical service, everyone exchanged heartfelt greetings in the church hall, and a celebratory cake prepared for the occasion was cut.
