On Tuesday, April 21, 2026, the head of the Chaldean Church in Lebanon, Bishop Michel Kassarji, accompanied by Deacon Nabil Riyad Al-Dallo, received a delegation from the Assyrian Church in Lebanon, which came to extend heartfelt congratulations on the election of His Beatitude Patriarch Mar Paulus III Nona as head of the Chaldean Church in Iraq and throughout the world. The meeting took place at 5:00 PM at the episcopal residence in Baabda–Brasilia. The delegation consisted of the esteemed Fathers Ninos Ouda and Gorgis Youkhanna, along with Deacons Edward Yacoub and Youkhanna Dawood. Discussions focused on current ecclesiastical and social concerns and challenges.
