On Tuesday, April 14, 2026, Monsignor Raphael Traboulsi, the Vicar General, visited His Beatitude Patriarch Cardinal Mar Bechara Boutros Al-Rahi, Primate in the Maronite Patriarchal See in Bkerke, in the presence of Father Fadi Tabat, the Lebanese Maronite envoy.
Father Traboulsi congratulated His Beatitude on the occasion of the glorious Easter and returned the congratulations and blessings to His Beatitude for Patriarch Mar Paul III Nona, newly elected at the head of the Chaldean Church.
The discussion addressed ecclesiastical and social matters, and during the meeting, attention was drawn to the activities of the Chaldean Diocese of Beirut and its various institutions, as well as the challenges they face.
At the conclusion, as Bishop Raphael conveyed the greetings of His Excellency, the diocesan bishop, Michel Kassarji, to the Cardinal, he asked everyone risen from the dead on the third day to grant Lebanon and the suffering East the steadfast peace, the same peace that He granted His pure disciples on the eve of His glorious salvific resurrection.
