The Primate of the Chaldean Church in Lebanon, Bishop Michel Kassarji, returned to Beirut on April 14, after participating in the special synod for the election of a new patriarch of the Chaldean Church, which was held in Rome in April. This participation constituted an important ecclesiastical event, resulting in the election of the new patriarch, His Beatitude Patriarch Mar Paul III Nona, Patriarch of the Chaldean Church, who will assume the leadership of the church in the coming period. On this occasion, the Chaldean Church in Lebanon, including clergy, faithful, and institutions, extends its warmest congratulations to His Beatitude Patriarch Mar Paul III Nona, wishing him a fruitful service full of grace and wisdom, for the good of the church and its members.
