On Friday, January 16, 2026, the Primate of the Chaldean Church in Lebanon, Bishop Michel Kassarji, accompanied by Deacon Nabil Dallo, visited His Beatitude Patriarch Mar Ignatius Joseph Younan, Patriarch of Antioch for the Syriac Catholics, at the Patriarchal Residence in the Museum – Cham Road, in the presence of Fathers Habib Murad and Karim Kalash. The two sides discussed matters concerning the Church, the state, and the region, exchanged greetings for the upcoming feasts, and His Excellency invited His Beatitude to participate in the closing prayer of the Week of Unity at St. Raphael Cathedral in Baabda–Brazilia on Sunday, January 26, 2026, at 6:00 p.m.
