On Wednesday, December 3, 2025, His Beatitude Patriarch Mar Louis Raphael Sako visited the Mar Thomas the Apostle Educational Center affiliated with the Chaldean Diocese of Beirut in Sed El-Bouchrieh, accompanied by His Excellency Bishop Sabri Anar and Father Raphael Trablousi. He was briefed by the center’s officials on its educational and social mission and praised the efforts of His Excellency Bishop Michel Kassarji, the Chaldean Charity Association, and the Our Lady of Divine Mercy Center. His Beatitude met the staff, greeted students, parents, teachers, and administrators, offered paternal guidance, and listened attentively to their concerns. Afterwards, he and his entourage visited the Saint Michel Health and Social Center of the Chaldean Diocese of Beirut, where he was given a detailed explanation of its medical and healthcare services, met Father Michel Abboud, head of the Caritas Association in Lebanon, toured the rooms and clinics, blessed the patients, and encouraged them with hope and comfort. In the afternoon, His Beatitude received numerous visitors at the Chaldean Diocese of Beirut’s episcopal residence, including Dr. Michel Abss, Director of the Middle East Council of Churches, lawyer Dr. Ziad Bitar, MP Charbel Maroun, and other clergy and laypersons seeking his blessing.
