On Sunday, 26 October 2025, the Chaldean Eparchy of Beirut concluded its Jubilee Year marking one hundred and fifty years of the Chaldean presence in Lebanon, during the Feast of Saint Raphael the Archangel. The solemn Mass was presided over by His Excellency Bishop Michel Kassarji, Shepherd of the Chaldean Church in the Land of the Cedars, assisted by Monsignor Raphael Tripoli, Vicar General, and the late Reverend Father Georges Naameh, of blessed memory, at the Cathedral of Saint Raphael at 4:00 p.m., in the distinguished presence of His Excellency the Apostolic Nuncio, Archbishop Paolo Borgia. Representing the three presidencies at the celebration was His Excellency Minister Michel Menassa, Minister of National Defense, alongside a large gathering of members of parliament, ministers, and figures from the religious, governmental, political, administrative, and media sectors, as well as the faithful of the community who came from all regions. The liturgy was enhanced by the Chaldean choirs of Saint Joseph and Saint Thomas, accompanied by the artist Carla Chamoun. After the Mass, to the sound of hymns and scout chants, a procession of deacons, choir members, the Apostolic Nuncio Archbishop Paolo Borgia, bishops, and clergy proceeded to the episcopal hall, where the celebratory cake was cut and congratulations were exchanged around the table of fellowship prepared for the occasion.
