During the jubilee year that concluded on September 1, 2025—and as we continue to celebrate its closing—special attention was given to a letter received from the Apostolic Penitentiary in Rome. In this letter, the Holy Father grants a plenary indulgence, under the usual conditions (sacramental confession, Eucharistic communion, and prayer for the intentions of the Pope), to all the faithful moved by love who devoutly participate in the jubilee celebrations or dedicate suitable time for personal reflection, concluding with the Our Father, the Creed, and invocations to the Blessed Virgin Mary, Queen of Peace, and to St. Raphael the Archangel.
Since some beloved members of the diocese were unable to visit the cathedral during the jubilee year for legitimate reasons, it was decided to publish the full text of both letters received from the Holy See, along with their Arabic translation, for the benefit of all the faithful.
