On Friday, September 26, 2025, the Chaldean Bishop of Lebanon, Bishop Michel Kassarji, participated in the tribute ceremony held in honor of Msgr. Pascal Gollnisch, the former president of the Œuvre d’Orient foundation. The event was organized by the foundation’s Lebanon branch and took place at the French Embassy in Beirut. It was attended by Msgr. Hugues Willame, the new president of the foundation, who arrived from Paris to visit the Land of the Cedars. Also present were Mr. Vincent Zarifeh, president of the Chaldean Charity Association, along with several clergy members and individuals active in charitable and social work.
