On Saturday, August 30, 2025, Monsignor Raphael Traboulsi, Vicar General, visited His Eminence Metropolitan Michael Farha, Shepherd of the Melkite Catholic Eparchy of Baalbek and its dependencies, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Monastery in Hazmieh. He congratulated him on his episcopal ordination and, on behalf of the parish of St. Raphael Cathedral and St. Joseph Chaldean Parish in Sad el-Bauchrieh, presented him with an ornate icon depicting the Virgin Mary, Mother of the Merciful God. The ceremony took place in the presence of the monastery’s superior and monks who had gathered from far and wide.
