On Sunday, August 24, 2025, His Excellency Bishop Michel Kassarji, Shepherd of the Chaldean Diocese in Lebanon, together with Monsignor Raphael Traboulsi, Vicar General, participated in the episcopal ordination of Father Mkhoul Farha of the Carmelite Order, who was elected Metropolitan of the Diocese of Baalbek and its dependencies for the Melkite Greek Catholic Church.
The ceremony took place at 5:00 p.m. in Saint Paul’s Church, Harissa, in the presence of a representative of the President of the Republic, along with dignitaries from the clergy, state, politics, the army, and administration, not to mention the new bishop’s family and large numbers of faithful who came from far and wide.
