On Sunday, May 25, 2025, His Excellency Bishop Michel Kassarji, primate of the Chaldean Church in Lebanon, presided over the Chaldean Divine Liturgy at the Shrine of Our Lady of Zahle and the Beqaa at 6:30 p.m., in celebration of the blessed Marian month.
He was assisted by Monsignor Raphael Traboulsi, the Vicar General, with the participation of the deacons, and in the presence of Monsignor Elie Abou Chaya, director of the shrine, along with priests, religious, and members of the Chaldean community of Zahle and the Beqaa.
The liturgy was served by the choir of St. Joseph Chaldean Church in Sed El Bauchrieh. His Excellency delivered a Marian homily highlighting the significance of the occasion and the Jubilee Year of the eparchy.
At the conclusion of the liturgy, a fraternal gathering was held with the faithful, marked by the exchange of peace and the kiss of love.
