In an official visit, Bishop Michel Kassarji, primate of the Chaldean Church in Lebanon, welcomed a delegation from the Military Technical Committee for Lebanon (MTC4L) led by Italian Major Riccardo Limitone at the headquarters of the Chaldean Diocese of Beirut.
During the meeting, both sides discussed the situation of the Chaldean community in Lebanon. Bishop Kassarji briefed the delegation on the various institutions and centers affiliated with the community, highlighting their role in delivering social, educational, medical, and humanitarian services to Lebanese, Iraqi, and Syrian Chaldeans.
Following the meeting, the delegation visited Saint Raphael Cathedral, where Major Limitone presented a commemorative shield to Bishop Kassarji in recognition of his efforts in serving the community and promoting values of coexistence.
