On March 25, 2025, on the occasion of the Feast of the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary, Monsignor Raphael Traboulsi, Vicar General, participated in the Christian-Islamic celebration organized at 1:00 p.m. by the Episcopal Committee for Christian-Islamic Dialogue, which stems from the Assembly of Catholic Patriarchs and Bishops of Lebanon.
Monsignor Raphael represented His Excellency Bishop Michel Kassarji at the event and participated in his capacity as Secretary of the aforementioned committee.
The celebration, held in the hall of the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Annunciation for the Syriac Catholics in Museum area, was presided over by His Beatitude Patriarch Mor Ignatius Youssef Younan, along with the committee’s president Bishop Charles Morad, the esteemed members, and Muslim sheikhs.
Under the theme “The Face of Mary,” the celebration featured talks by several speakers, including Mr. Michel Abs, Secretary General of the Middle East Council of Churches. The event was presented by renowned journalist Lia Maamari and included devotional Marian hymns.
