On the evening of Tuesday, December 24, 2024, Monsignor Raphael Traboulsi, the Vicar General of the Chaldean Diocese of Beirut, celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Chaldean Parish of St. Joseph in Sad El-Bouchrieh for Christmas. The celebration began with the Christmas prayer and the blessing of the Christmas flame, followed by the Christmas Mass at 8:00 p.m.
A large gathering of Chaldean parishioners from Lebanon, Iraq, and Syria attended the service, creating a heartfelt atmosphere of faith and unity. The St. Joseph Choir, along with the honorable deacons, added a special touch to the liturgy with their remarkable performance and hymns that enriched the spirit of the occasion.
The event was broadcast live on “Tele Lumiere” and “Al-Thamena Iraqi TV,” allowing many believers to participate in the blessed celebration remotely.
The festivities concluded with a symbolic procession along the church street, where Christmas hymns and carols echoed, spreading joy and peace in the hearts of all attendees.
