On Wednesday, October 16, 2024, Bishop Michel Kassarji, Primate of the Chaldean Church in Lebanon, participated in the spiritual summit convened by His Beatitude Cardinal Mar Bechara Boutros Al-Rahi in Bkerke. The summit gathered all Christian and Islamic denominations to discuss current issues and explore possibilities for unifying positions and shared visions. The aim was to confront the ongoing war in Lebanon, call for peace, and promote dialogue. The summit also highlighted relief efforts intended to provide shelter to the displaced, treat the wounded, and care for those affected by the ongoing catastrophe that has been wreaking havoc across the country, sparing neither people nor property.
