On the occasion of the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary and as part of the Jubilee year activities, amidst the deteriorating security situation, the Saint Joseph Chaldean Parish held a night of prayer, adoration, reflections, and confessions, culminating in a Divine Liturgy presided over by Monsignor Raphael Traboulsi, with the participation of Father Joseph Raffoul on Sunday, October 6, 2024, at 6:00 PM. The prayer included the recitation of the rosary and the blessing of oil for the healing of the soul and body.
During the evening, Archimandrite Arsenios Hanoonik delivered a Marian lecture that illuminated the significance of the occasion and emphasized the importance and effectiveness of prayer in these tragic circumstances, beseeching Heaven for peace. The liturgical celebration was supported by the parish choir and the honorable deacons, attended by the Icon of the Queen of the Rosary, which arrived from the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary in Pompeii, Italy, along with a large number of faithful who filled the church.
