The Chaldean Charity Association in Lebanon held a general assembly meeting to elect a new administrative board on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at 4:00 PM, at the Chaldean Diocese residence in Baabda-Brazilia. The meeting was attended by a number of members affiliated with the association. Bishop Michel Kassarji, the head of the diocese, delivered a speech, and Deacon Raphael Kobly made an intervention, both highlighting the achievements of the previous board and expressing gratitude to the president and members for their efforts.
Subsequently, a new board was unanimously elected, consisting of Vincent Zarifa, Lara Chamoun, Joseph Esho, George Sado, Perla Berozi, Sylvia Saki, and Monsignor Raphael Traboulsi as the spiritual advisor. The Chaldean Diocese of Beirut wished the new administrative board success, as their work begins with the start of the Jubilee year, and prayed for peace in Lebanon amid the escalating security situation and the rising number of wounded, martyrs, and displaced people.
