The Primate of the Chaldean Church in Lebanon, Bishop Michel Kassarji, founded Our Lady of Divine Mercy Social Center in 2015 in Baouchrieh-Lebanon.
The main objective of the social center is to provide social, livelihood and healthcare assistance to the most vulnerable Lebanese, Iraqi and Syrian families living in Lebanon.
Since 2017, the relief team works under the direction of Deacon Raphael Koupaly.
The center receives families daily, especially Iraqi refugees, for registration, social, livelihood and healthcare assistance, in coordination with the Saint Michel Medical and Social Center, the Chaldean Charitable Association and a group of donor institutions.
A Socio-Medical team, including a doctor, a nurse, a psychologist and two social workers insures medical and social follow-up of all the registered families.
