The Chaldean Synod held in Baghdad

The Chaldean Synod held in Baghdad at the Patriarchal edifice headed by His Beatitude Patriarch Louis Raphael Sako, Patriarch of Babylon for the Chaldeans, and the participation of the Chaldean bishops in the world continued considering the topics on the agenda, including administrative, liturgical and others. The Chaldean Church’s primate in Lebanon, Bishop Michel Kassarji explained the situation in Lebanon and its stifling economic crisis and the situation of the Chaldean Church in Lebanon. His Excellency also briefed some outstanding administrative problems as the head of the Patriarchal Appeal Court in the world. Several bishops were also elected to vacant dioceses in the Chaldean Church in Iraq and the countries of the world.
